Vintage Midcentury Modern Design Low Folding Chair Set by Pierre Jeanneret for the Le Corbusier Chandigarh project. Made in India, 1960's period. Low folding easy chairs. Canework seat and backrest on a teak structure resting on two pairs of slanted, profiled legs. Solid crosspiece bar joining the back legs. Backrest attached to seat with brass hinges. Solid teak frame with braided canework. These come in very good, restored condition, the teak wood frame has been refinished and the canework has been redone. Each easy chair measures 78cm x 50cm x 69cm.
