Vintage Modernist Design S31 Stool by Pierre Chapo. Made in France, 1970's period. Elmwood constructed tripod stool with a thick seating with natural veining and three crossed feet. Visible joints along the seating's edge are typical of Pierre Chapo's creations. The base of this stool with three crossed legs gives a solid seat comfort on beautiful design. This stool comes in very good condition. The base has been refinished with black somewhere in the past. This does gives this a good strong look. Normal signs of it's use and age. Measures 46cm x 42cm x 42cm.
