Vintage Postmodern Design "Charly" Fauteuil Armchair by Gerard Van den Berg for Montis. Made in the Netherlands, 1980's. Designed in 1982. Cognac leather on metal frame. In very good condition with normal wear for it's age and use. Measures 100cm x 73cm x 67cm.

A graciously shaped frame, clothed just like a living person in a softly padded ‘jacket’. Maybe that’s the reason why Charly has a natural air that makes such a human impression. The seat, which is higher than average, together with the straight back, give the Charly what is known as active comfort, a quality which will also be appreciated by elderly people. Its personality makes it easy to integrate with various styles.
